Through this web site, I wish to share with you what I have learned in the short time I have been doing woodturning and hopefully will inspire or encourage others who desire to learn more about turning and carving. This more or less "pastime" has always been for me a way to create wood items showing how we as humans have the ability to transfer an idea from our minds to our fingertips and create something beautiful or odd. However many feeble but sure attempts we make, will eventually show our will to succeed. This material called wood has the properties to allow us to create anything we put our minds to and it is just a matter of time and learning how to manipulate it by means of a chisel, a saw, or a knife. I have no special techniques or wish to imply I have any more talent than anyone else as I intend to learn and grow in this craft along with everyone else.
